While we're on this subject I must say that my Dad has a TERRIBLE habit of insisting the waiter or waitress guesses what he's going to have for dessert.
"Now then, can what I'm going to choose, Ma'am?"
"no"
"I'm going to have the chocolate banana boat. I am. If you have it. Do you have it?"
"Yes"
"THATS ME THEN. A CHOCOLATE BANANA BOAT. Thank you ma'am".
