  As a very very very small studio, I am finding a number of larger clients are cancelling projects and paying me off for what I've done so far. Its definitely got a lot quieter on the illustration front BUT... that has forced me to think laterally, be flexible and to accept that I need to take on design work to fill in the potholes in the schedule. I am finding there are companies out there who want to put work my way and I think survival is largely going to be a case of forgetting what you think you are about and providing a service that suits those who want it.

  • Yeah, it's not that the work is getting cancelled but that they're pushing it back.. back enough to make the next quarter be very tight for us.d_rek
