My parents went curling all the time when i was a kid. They'd go to Bonspiels in Canada and stuff, as well as play every weekend at the club in our area. Whenever i accompanied them to the curling club, i was bored out of my frickin mind. Bunch of old affluent people in red and white sweaters pushing a rock back and forth on the ice as an excuse to booze it up.
My dad used to buy me Coke's from the bar, but they always tasted flat (i guess if there was whiskey in it i might not have cared either).- that sounds way more bitter than i actually am about itlocustsloth
