Suzuki cars: I've just spent 2.5 hours waiting to get two tyres replaced on the gwife's Suduki Swift. Then they tell me they can't complete the job because the child seat is jammed in and they can't get it out. Then I ask why they need to take a child seat out of the back to replace two tyres on the front.

Then they say "Oh, there's a recall on your car. We have to replace the light in the boot/trunk otherwise it catches fire whne the rain gets in", to which I say "Why would rain get in the boot/trunk anyway", to which they say "Because a design flaw in the Swift means there's a hole that lets the rain in onto the light that sets on fire if it gets wet", to which I say "Well, its not enough to make the light fire safe if there's a hole in the boot letting rain in" to which they say "No, but we'll fixe that too, its all under warranty, just give us forty minutes"

2.5 hours later they say "Well, we've partially resolved the problem... We have disabled the boot light for now until we can fit a new one, and we just need to ask you to come back in to have fireproofed linings fitted to the boot, a repair to the hole, the new light fitted and a new rear passenger seat belt"... "A new rear passenger seatlbelt?"... "Yes, the one in there at the moment isn't working"...

"So when you say you've partially resolved the problem, what part have you resolved exactly?"

    "We've fitted the tyres sir"

I only went in for tyres ffs.
