I finished reading "the new typography" by Jan Tschichold.
A pretentious book where a young typographer talks for about 180 pages about rationalism, "spirit of our time", objectivity and similar bollocks just to justify the fact he doesn't like the typography of his time, while he urges all the designers to switch to sans-serif typefaces, and typographic driven designs, just because "they are beautiful".
- haha, funny. The Elements of Typographic Style is a better read inho.********
- now tell the truth from the sarcasm on my post :-)Fariska
- Bringhurst is pretty tough sledding I found and the book not easy to hold.********
