You can steal some more ideas from the itinerary of the tour I took at http://intrepidtravel.com/trips/… - Cuc Phuong National Park was pretty beautiful too and the most peaceful place we went to.
(I prefer to travel independently but ended up taking the tour because it was last minute and I didn't want any hassles)
