  All of the above arguments are completely ridiculous.

  Here's the real question:
  WHAT ARE CITY-COPS DOING, SHOOTING AN UN-ARMED CHIMPANZEE?
  NY Animal Control would be called to tranquilize the chimp, etc.
  City cops are generally not known to have a habit of shooting at wild animals with their fire-arms.
  What un-armed specimen are cops well-known to have a habit of shooting? especially recently?
  I don't even have to say (African Americans).

  We can all dodge the obvious connotation of the illustration, but the reality would remain that:
  WE ARE ALL DODGING THE OBVIOUS CONNOTATION OF THE ILLUSTRATION.
  That's all.
