Just got home from my second-last day of work to find a small river running through my ground-level home office. We had a rather large "rain event" (they used to be called "storms" or just "rain"). I had some prior warning from my neighbour when we moved in, so thankfully almost everything is up off the ground. My big worry is the impression of sheer amereurishness this kind of thing will display to my clients.
