    definitely check out the mall. i think all the memorials have been recently renovated including the washington memorial and the vietnam wall.

    also the WWII memorial is relatively new and quite nice.

    can't go wrong in the national gallery or hirshorn museums

    • the subway makes it relatively painless to get around. it's a very small system compared to NY7point34
    • could check out the zoo. my grandfather designed the bird cage there.7point34
