  Scary times, but honestly people it's been worse. There was nothing left of Poland, Germany, bits of France and the UK sixty years ago. Nothing. Carpet bombed. The German currency was worthless. By the sixties everything was rolling along just fine again.
  Or the depression — massive unemployment and a drought to boot!
  Or the quake in SF in 1906.
  Civilisation is built for disaster, it just sucks that we're ringside for it. Jobs will be found and created. Equilibrium will be found.... eventually.
  This too, in time, shall pass.
