    sorry i gapped on my post. hate it when people do that. thx for replies.

    padded/ upholstered.. yes but not limited too.

    don't think i wanna go armless and backless.

    i have an ikea work chair now, wasn't cheap and very disappointed with it.

    armless aeron would be an option. thx mal.

    i'm a little considered about sitting in the other "visitor" chair all day.

    • are the arms removable on a standard aeron?horton
    • I don't think they come off very easily—or rather by design. However you can drop them pretty low. Like. . .sky2x
    • maybe an inch above the seating surface. I'd be shocked if they couldn't be set low enough.sky2x
