The media assume and spread lies, if he can manipulate the lies and have every up in arms about such a talent wasting away and taking drugs, at least it takes the focus off his actual private life.
I expect we'll all see a doco in 2010 about hollywood generated shitty money making films or how standard a celebrity is required to behave and hold himself.
