plenty of iphone threads on here listing the plus's
ive got one and have contributed to these threads so i'm not going to repleat myself. use the filter!bottom line, i wanted a phone for similar reasons and went for the iphone and havent regretted it.
with all the apps and games you can get for it you start to use it as more than just a phone. im not much of a game player but ive found the games and puzzles excellent for bored 5 mins while waiting for trains etc.
you can download an app which turns the phone into an external drive - that will allow you to play movies and view loads of file formats like word/pdf etc.
my mum had a blackberry for a while and i didnt like it.
the great thing about the iphone is its soooo easy to use.
at xmas my cousins little girl (about 6?) just picked up the iphone and started using it and playing with the apps. the same couldnt be said for usability if a kid of the same age picked up a blackberry or nokia.
