Spooks, not sure if you care, but:
"Though the West believes in unlucky numbers, such as 13, the Hindu way does not. According to the Hindu philosophy, all numbers are good - some just prove to be better."
That's a bit of a lie, but it depends on the person. I know my mom hates certain numbers, including 2. 8 is the worst, I believe.
"In numerology, 8 and 13 are among the few numbers that are said to have a negative connotation. The fear over 8 is due to its association with Saturn and 13's due to its inauspiciousness."
So you were partly correct. I guess my family doesn't care about the number 13 because they don't want to make me feel bad, and now they actually believe it's a good number instead of bad. Also, in Hindu numerology, my number is not 13. It's actually 4 (adding the numbers together) and my second number is 3 (calculated using my entire birth date). Apparently the 4 owns me until I am 35, and then 3 takes over.
I don't believe in it, but my family does.
