Afternoon:
Took my girl to the beach after her midday nap. I smashed boulders against the huge cubes of granite sunk into the shale, and behind me she meticulously sifted out 9 pure white, flawless pebbles 3 large oyster shells and some seaweed. She then prepared three breakfasts out of this and when she was ready, she laid them out and shouted "BREAKFAST READY DADDY" and we sat and ate our stones n shells breakfast. We brought the third one home for mom who stayed behind to hoover.
It was bastardly cold and raining icy droplets and I thought I would die. Why don't 2.5 year olds feel the cold...
