  Sorry to hurt anyone's feelings... I'm just that the trend today is for simpler logos, and cleaner design all around. Blimpie is just following that trend, which might actually work for them. As for the polarized level of understanding... I think I'm being quite fair to both Blimpie and Pentagram when I say that the recent work is boring, but might be the right thing for the time. The polarized thinking comes from those who automatically say Pentagram's work is great and this is crap without taking a broader look at it.
