i work at a realty company in the IT dept.
the other day one of our particularly bright agents called the help desk saying that for the past few days some of their files were missing or corrupted, and then when they turned it on today the computer would not start up at all. the tech guy was sent out to take a look at it.
apparently, the dipshit had taken not 1 but 2 car magnets and slapped them to the side of the tower and erased the hard drive in the process.
this still is not the stupidest thing that we've ever been called about.
