Not at all. I am just bummed about the lack of appreciation and courtesy. Maybe being around Japanese people all the time has skewed my sense of what is considered decent consideration towards another person. WHat I did I hope anyone would do, and I wasn't looking for compensation of any kind other than simply doing the right thing. What irks me is the attitude. An offer of compensation, no matter how small, would of been the correct and courtesy thing to do is all I am saying. Do you see the difference between me doing something for a "reward" (which I wasn't) and just me lamenting at the lack of social decorum in the situation...ah maybe I'm just too old fashioned...
