    why do they cancel trains which run UNDER THE GROUND anyway in these cases, is it cos the drivers and staff can't get in to work, or is it actually something to do with the trains themselves?

    • They're only partially underground. Significant portions of the line are overground.Khurram
    • ah course, does it basically go overground soon as you hit the outer zones?kelpie
    • Also, no buses are running in London, so all commuter traffic has overwhelmed the underground.Khurram
    • Yes. Anywhere between zone 3-6 is mainly overground - the commuter belt.Khurram
