This Monday 02/02? Weather should be in the 80's, I would suggest going to venice or santa monica and spending the day at the beach walking up and down the boardwalk. Loads of pubs, restaurants, bars, shops (not that you cant shop anywhere) but its a nice place to be on a sunny day. Particularly if you're coming from somewhere with shiite weather.
Griffith park and observatory, The Getty and Amoebae record store are some of my favorites on a day off.
