You know, for a libertarian guy you really seem unconcerned about the accumulation of power via financial means that corrupt our democracy. Seeing that the whole point of the American Experiment was to offset the accumulation and use of unfairly leveraged political power. But I'm sure you're right ..there's nothing odd about an industry that has posted record profits even in the worst of economic climes, while we empty the public coffers paying to secure access via our military for them to their main source of revenue. And you know, that they're in collusion with high finance vis-s-vis newly opened oil futures market where they manipulate the price of said commodity in the "free market".
Yeah, you're probably right. I was jumping to conclusions there by reading too much into that little study they funded through a front group saying how everything is sunshine and roses because infact the owners of the companies don't really "own" the company because it's chopped up in little bits in mutual funds and shit. Sold by the same financial companies that run the oil futures markets.
