Besides, even if the factual information is correct that, and indeed, since oil companies are publically traded and thos ownership stocks are on the stock market, in mutual fuinds etc...does John Q. Public really own that stuff?
Tell me Tommy how many Oil stocks do you hold? What about the 20,000 workers laid off this week from Caterpillar for example, how are their oil investments doing? I'm sure they're going to be marching over to ExxonMobil headquarters tomorrow to start chatting with the CEO about what they'll be doing with those record profits...you know, because they're owners...
