speaking of balsamic.
my brother lives in italy. he was in town for the christmas holiday, and brought with him all these recipes for authentic italian dishes we all had to try.
the most interesting was balsamic vinegar drizzled over ice cream.
i was skeptical at first but it really did taste good. it had an unusual aftertaste to it but otherwise tasted like a tart raspberry sauce. very cool. never would have ever imagined.
