    there is lots of software / hardware used on this, here's the shortlist.
    Nothing to write home about.

    Korg Trinity, Yamaha VSS-30, Yamaha DX7
    Farbrausch, Korg Legacy, Audjoo Helix, SQ8L (this is really nice), VOPM
    Shortcircuit (a nice freeware sampler)

    Stillwell 1973, SIR2 (impulse reverb), TLPlugs TLS2095-LA, Pushtec EQ, Nyquist EQ.

    Software used..
    Jeskola Buzz, Cubase SX, Protools HD, Milkytracker
    Drumsynth, Paulstretch, Wavosaur
    dozens of ancient sound rendering tools, since before the days of realtime computer based synthesis (like 1993 old)

    Speakers / Monitors
    Wharfdale Diamonds, 80's era Technics amp
    Altec-Lansing sub (just to check the low lows, mostly to filter them out)

    Motu Ultralite for any tracking.. recorded into either Wavosaur, or Cubase SX.
