Was your life perfectly fine without one?. If so dinnae bother. If you feel it will enrich your life and help you do stuff which you really needed to, or wanted to do, then yes get one.
I would only consider buying an I phone if I commuted allot and decided I didn't like reading books anymore, or I was very busy and needed to do work emails etc. all the time and had no chance of a reprise from the endless onslaught of information and reachability.

- it's perfectly fine to read small documents, articles etc.. Also you can make the text bigger! :OKhurram
- I find that my eyes get very tired very quickly when reading text off a small screen. I have no factual evidencechossy
