  I had a whole response written out and stupidly refreshed the page.
  Anyway, I basically said:

  I have no problem with someone saying that. Most people don't have the technical knowledge about pieces of art and don't know what kind of effort or thinking goes into pieces. So it makes sense that they would evaluate it purely based on what they see immediately, on the surface, and quickly comment about it.
