I'm thinking about getting the V500. If the largest film I am doing is MF, should I not bother with the V700, or is it worth it? I made some attempts at scanning last night with the 4990 we have at work, and the results were completely fucked. I think I tried every option, and read a ton of troubleshooting tips online, and still no dice. Either the film and holder were solid black, or completely blown out. I coudn't get anything decent in the middle. We have another 4990 that is connected to a PC, so if I get really frustrated, I may try that. What do you guys think?
