    anyway - back to the conversation about losing clients 'for having an attitude'...

    ... I recently 'parted ways' with a 'small' client (no clients are small, damnit!!!) simply for the fact that everything I was doing for them felt 'wrong'. Both wrong for their needs and wrong for MY portfolio... the client was hung up on his favorite color 'blue' which happens to be microsoft's blue-screen-of-death blue. This is one of the clients that would prefer to use a picture of his kids and dog on vacation in Aspen as his lead-in image for his brokerage firm (which happens to have 20+ employees who all refer clients to the site for forms etc and are rather embarrassed by the whole thing)...

    ... and of course being released from a big contract yesterday is making me wish I hadn't stopped working for the client of course...

    *sigh...

    ... it's probably better in the long run to just suck it up and be damn sure there is always bread and butter on the table.
