a former college professor of mine (laura nader, sister of ralph) called him a great propagandist. Not exactly sure why, I think it's because he "speaks the truth half the time" or something like that, and he supported the war in afghanistan.
still, I like friedman. when I read his columns I dont get a swarmy aftertaste like I just licked Ari Fleischer.
