Rand, I am torn between two camps regarding Hydro74. On the one hand he's clearly drilling out the goth-metal mexicalo skullfuck mine for every last gem it might contain, but he does so it with dedication and skill... a dedication and skill that I recognise I no longer have myself, so I admire him all the more for maintaining it into adulthood.
That said, he could not design a logo for a gay florist's retirement home if his life depended on it, so I suppose the gracious thing is that we each gravitate to what we like and if there's a market for it, we are in luck. Clearly there has been a market for his stuff and I respect that because someone's got to do it so it may as well be someone who loves drawing skulls.
I however, still wait patiently for that retirement home gig to come my way.
