If you want a cheese steak, go to 9th & Passyunk and you'll have a choice of Pat's or Gino's. If you go to Pat's make sure you know exactly what you want before you get to the window or they will punch you in the face. I kid. I kid.

The Reading Terminal Market in/near Chinatown is worth a walkthrough.

If you are there on a Sunday, the Art Museum is "Pay as you wish" all day. (Used to be free but I guess now you can pay like a dollar or two.)

If you want to check out a show, look at the City Paper and Phila Weekly in a free newspaper box and look at the Trocadero, The Khyber, Northstar, Johnny Brendas, etc. There are a few good ones.

Do a tour of our Murals www.muralarts.org/getinvolved/to…...

People always seem to want to go to the Mutter Museum. I've never been but I know people from out of town are always into seeing it. Freaky science shit...

South Philly: Just drive or walk around for a while after your cheese steak.

There are lots of good bars. Try them all.

Don't wear an Arizona Cardinals Jersey.

If you like some fresh air/nature, take a walk on Kelly Drive (starts at the Art Museum)

Have a good time, Philly gets such a bad rap but it's actually a really great place if you give it a chance. And then come back when it's warm!
