I can't look at skulls anymore.
Not one more, it's utterly meaningless to me, it's not edgy or poetic, or aesthetic, it's just a lazy trendy pointless substitute for an idea.
I've never bought anything with a skull on it, neither will I, for myself or anyone else, it is an insult to me, as a designer's audience member to be presented with a skull - it's as if they are saying - hey you, cunt - you know fuck all about what looks good, what has meaning, or what has been created in the last 20, you're a fucking brainless shithead, get your wallet out - here's a skull. Buy these mediocre sneakers - the same plastic crap you've been buying for the last 20 years - but this time - theres a shit fucking pen drawing of a skull on it, here you are you fucking retard, here's your new shoes - they got a fucking line drawing of a skull on it, because shoes should be, you know, er...deathy, no - I mean, er edgy, yeh, edgy like a punk (a real punk, no just someone dressed up as a punk) riding a skateboard - somewhere he probably isn't allowed to, yeh - thats what your shoes should say to the people you walk past, because you should be saying things like that to your friends, strangers, neighbors and the like. Tell everyone that sees you that you're er...slightly angry about something, or something. Grrrr! Fucking skulls.
