  Jesus, I just watched War Of The Worlds - the Tom Cruise Speilberg one. I liked it. I thought it was an acceptable waste of my time. It had some good cinematography, it stayed faithful to the essence of the theme despite shifting a long way from the original story or the original film. It had some shit bits too I guess, but this is no high art, its burgers for the eyes.
