I do both.
They are different skillsets. Motion is more fun, more self-contained (read: you will spend long hours working alone), and more visually creative. Interactive is more about problem solving, and you have to be better at working in a team. So it depends what you get a kick out of.
I'd say motion is harder to break into, and interactive pays more.
