Brita is good in countries like UK or most continental Europe. In most of the US and some European countries like Ireland, tap water is still poisoned with fluoride, which is simply put, toxic.
"Eco" light bulbs are another great thing: they contain mercury, they are high frequency strobes, produce light of unnatural temperature and they are electromagnetic pollutants. Their bad effect oh human organism are being reported.

BTW, classic bulbs are being banned in fascist countries, ie. in EU by 2012.
