Actually, i just read that flash applications, which i'm using a profile image, require a user to first click on the flash to start it playing. Kinda misses the point, so I guess I won't be using Flash. I still can't figure out why the animation fades out prematurely, but maybe that's another "feature" of facebook.
Oh, and i hate facebook too.
