The 17" PCs are just like everything else - almost great, but the aim at mass marketing (ie cheap) instead of designers. That's where you get the huge size and weight, but what, like $1500 less than the Apple?
So is the size that big of a problem? I'd like one in the middle, personally. Hopefully Dell will come out with something soon, they always seem to wait and test (that's good) before releasing new products.
