    The only draw back I can see is the amount of service charges and network charges you will have. The bank will always try to get as many services charges as possible from you. If you each have an account plus a joint account you will be paying these fees 3 times over, not to mention if you have a joint savings account.

    The less you deal with the bank the more money overall you will make.
