Good music, yes, is a matter of taste. Sure, people knock talented people. But talented people can still make crappy music. You can play mad licks on a guitar, but you could also not have a single original idea in your body to save your life.
For the record, I've got Fannypack, Mellowdrone, Dizzee Rascal, Mark Ronson, Steve Burns, Gravy Train, The Fever, Breakestra, and Spoon on the brain and in the ear right now. Check em.
