last night i dreamt that i was in a house with all the people that i was once very close to but am not on talking terms any more. i had a pleasant conversation with all of them and we set our differences aside. i was relieved to have done this, i told them, because it had been weighing down on me over the years and that i didn't want to leave things unresolved. they all admitted that they felt the same way. this enormous, crushing pressure was lifted and i felt content.
when i woke up this morning, the crushing pressure had returned.
