I don't think you should dilute your skills by trying to be everything to everyone. Even asking someone to be a top shelf web designer and print designer is asking a lot. Obviously, a good many people can do both reasonably well, but few people can actually know html/css/flash like the back of their hand as well as easily design and layout a 200 page book and see it through to press (successfully). Honestly, pick one you like and do it well.
