    Dobs is correct on this; rules for FMT are as follows:
    1.) the FMT is to be dated for the upcoming Friday, hence this week's Friday is the 16th
    2.) Dobs has used the correct date sequence here: 011609
    flavorful and the Brits and such all tried to change this, but it's been quietly decided to keep it as it was
    3.) The FMT is allowed to start "casually on Wednesday, but never earlier than say Tuesday afternoon.
