Sheepman,
the links already posted are good. Here's one of the sites I'm working on that use Flash content, HTML navigation and I use local connection to keep everything together between flash sections in different frames. Of course, forget about regular frames...use iFrames...I used it here and it's working perfectly with IE, NN, Safari, Opera
