I've only visited SF once, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself the whole time I was there. Beautiful beaches, beautiful city, great restaurants.
I will say that my reason for being out there (job interview) was a total, complete waste. After 20 minutes or so, they put my interview on hold for about 1.5 hours while they had a production meeting, then came back and told me that what they really needed was someone more senior with at least 7 years experience. It's like they didn't even read my resume. This after I flew out on my own dime. We'd even had a phone interview beforehand that went very well.
That's just my experience of one single firm though, I'm not judging the entire city by it of course.
- Sounds like my first interview with Fuse Project. But i ended up working there anyway, later on.refunktion
