Well I didn't think I was going get it at all (you should've seen me at the interview -- chewing my bubble gum, wearing sneakers) only due to the fact that I'm twenty-two & have very little corporate experience. The position entails (from the posting) "developing innovative, eye-catching concepts & executing final art for ads, packaging & in-store graphics... a flexible illustration style and the ability to create artwork varying from cartoon-like and stylized to photo realistic..." I will be working only in Illustrator with a little bit of freehand on the side for concept development.
Two of us were chosen (out of two hundred) to come back for a "test day." This fact alone would've made me happy. I can't believe I actually got it...
I'm so excited & I just can't hide it...
