    I had Ikizukuri once. Fish I had wasn't as alive as that one, but I remember seeing its tail still moving a bit. Sashimi was so fresh I can still vividly remember how good it was.

    On my recent trip to Japan, I tried chicken sashimi. I didn't get salmonella or anything and it was the freshest piece of chicken meat I've ever had. I would try again.

    • yeah, raw chicken. it wasn't slimy. It was not much different from tuna, of course, it has different flavor and texture.tkmeister
