I hope I die before they "perfect" it. I agree with the professor in the article who said, "After all, we already have overpopulation, global warming, limited resources and other issues to deal with, so why compound the problem by adding immortality into the mix."
Even if we lived only 100 years longer it would compound the problem. Unless we want to have a mandatory kill off once people reach 200. Either way I still hope I die before they "perfect" it.
