    So who are they actually going after? Downloaders or people who make songs available? Because most things I've read seem to slant to those who make songs available on their hard drive and not people who download tons of songs.
    After you download songs, can't you just put them in another folder and make the Kazaa folder the only one that's searched?

    Or, is whatever method the RIAA using (likely just as illegal as the "theft" of mp3s their trying to stop) scanning entire hard drives, even if all but the Kazaa folder are blocked from being searched by other Kazaa users (or any file sharing for that matter) because you can set it up that way in the preferences.
