  My list as a Coffee ( black, no sugar, no cream ) addict depending for a few areas of Manhattan. This is to say a cup of coffee, not the bean

  West Village
  Porto Rico, they have 2 types Light and Dark, usually the dark is a french roast which makes it tré awesome

  Soho
  Aroma - NIce little isreali owned company that gets it's beans from Turkey I believe, there's something special about it

  East Village
  Organic Grill - Always organic, always fresh

  Union Square
  Oren's, I would argue possibly the best hands down.

  Grand Central
  Orens

  Penn Station
  Starbucks ... it's penn station, it sucks

  All Over,
  Puerto Rican Bodegas who serve Cafe Bustelo. Get there early, can't get anything decent past 10 am.
