I have a feeling social networking will fall into the realm of novelty. Remember when AIM started with AOL, and everyone used to use chat rooms? now no one cares. Give it a few. No one will care what your favorite song is or your holiday pictures. Socializing will return to the real world. In fact, broadcasting your personal info will ultimately only serve others who want to look you up, so if anything, tools will get better and your pepsonal profiles will get less and less candid, if dishonest. It will be like advertising yourself (if it isnt already), which will lead people to question the glossy cesspool of content as a whole.
